Accessibility statement
Last reviewed October 16, 2026.
We want everyone who needs a tax preparer, payroll or bookkeeping to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control or high zoom.
The standard we aim for
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content
- Text and buttons meet colour contrast requirements, and pages still work in Windows high contrast mode
- Pages reflow at 400% zoom without sideways scrolling
- Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion, and a button pauses them on any page
- Forms label every field and explain errors in words, not just colour
- The deadline calendar and fee estimator work with a keyboard and a screen reader
How we test
Every page is checked with automated tools (axe and Lighthouse) and by hand with a keyboard, VoiceOver and 200% to 400% zoom, on phones and desktops, before each release.
Known limits
IRS and Kansas Department of Revenue forms we link to are published by those agencies, and some older PDFs among them are not fully accessible. If you need one in another format, ask us and we will help you fill it in.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, call (620) 555-0137 or email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply within two working days and help you by phone or in person in the meantime.
